MOPS and POPS

As you walked into the Park Bench Restaurant, the night of our MOPS and POPS event, you see romantic candles, flower peddles and red in abundance. The decorating team went all out, holding nothing back for our wonderful moms and their "honeys". It was a night of bonding together, as couples. A new and much appreciated addition to our already rock'n group!

MOPS meeting 2/20

Mops morning on the 20th was a special time as we said goodbye to our wonderful table leader, Tieara Hurn, who gets to go back home to California! We are excited for her to be back with family and friends but will miss her warm presence and good friendship at MOPS! Kelli Prichard, shared about parenting according to principles rather than rules. She was a wealth of information, as she has 8 of her own children and spent 18 years changing diapers!

MOPS Meeting 2/6/08

Carlene McNabb was our guest speaker. She was incredible and was able to truly communicate God's desire for us in our relationships with our husbands. If you missed out on this session be sure to ask your table leader if you can borrow the DVD of it. This is a session that we all can benefit greatly from. Thank you Carlene for coming and speaking to our group! The following is an excerpt from an email that Carlene sent to Suzanne and asked her to communicate to each of us:

"Thank you so much for giving me the privilege to come and share with you and your women God's vision for marriage. Thank you so much for allowing me to use God's Word, which is alive and full of power, to minister to them. I had so much fun with your women, what a wonderful group they are! Tell them thank you for welcoming me so warmly and making me feel cared for. Tell them thank you for listening and considering what God's thoughts & plans are for them through my voice. Tell them I love them and will be praying for each of them regularly. Tell them I asked God to use me as His instrument to speak to each woman individually. I asked Him to ensure that I shared something that could be used to minister to each woman's individual heart that would cause her to move in a new way of loving and caring for her husband's heart that will bless him, will bless their marriage, will bless their children, will bless the Lord's Name; and ultimately bring such victory, peace and joy into their individual lives. Tell them God loves them with an everlasting love, from the beginning of time to the end of time, and with loving-kindness He draws them to Him and never lets them go. Tell them I will look forward to with anticipation the next I will get to see their beautiful faces." -Carlene
